I met Lydia and Earl when I was in the middle of my very first styled shoot (Urban Botanical). They were doing a walk through of the The Peachtree Club and the first thing I thought was: “Go and introduce yourself!” All I could think about was how cool it would have been to book a client that was having a rooftop wedding were my styled shoot was happening!
Their wedding took place on a rainy spring day in April. Lydia had envisioned a destination wedding while Earl always envisioned an elegant wedding. Having their wedding at The Peachtree Club really brought that elegant flare while providing a destination like no other. Lydia and Earl met when they were kids. They attended the same church and even performed in the same Christmas play together as Mary and Joseph. They always say they’re #MinttobeMimes so it only made sense for their color palette to include white, gold and you guessed it, mint green! Some DIY and personal touches that were included in their wedding were the custom name plates for their bridal party and the mint green tic-tac party favors.
Words from the Couple:
”We were married before and rekindle through social media. We weren’t ready before but through life’s teachings, we found our way back to each other” – Earl
“My favorite moment from our wedding day was when my husband cried while giving his vows and when he did his dance while taking off my garter.” – Lydia
